Week Three: My Favorites

    Okay, there is no major Taylor Swift news as of right now, so for this post we are going to talk all about my favorites. My favorite songs and albums. To start us off I will tell you my top three favorite albums. 
Speak Now (Taylor's Version)[2 CD]

    My most favorite Taylor Swift album is Speak Now. This one is my favorite for many reasons, the songs are the biggest reason, but also it is my favorite because I went to the Speak Now (Taylor's Version) release party, also known as The Eras Tour Kansas City night one. I went to this show with my best friend and we listened to the whole album the night before. We sobbed when Taylor sang Long Live at our show for the first time the whole tour. Then we sobbed again when she sang Never Grow Up as one of our surprise songs. That day was truly the best day of my life, I don't care what anyone says about it.

    My next two favorite albums are Folklore and Reputation. Folklore is my next favorite because the lyrics are her best and they are genius. This whole album is so beautiful and when it came out I was changed for the better. Reputation is my next favorite because it so iconic. It has no skip songs and is a masterpiece. It is so much different than anything she has ever put out and it is just so good. Two of my favorite songs from Reputation are "New Years Day" and "I Did Something Bad." They are very different songs, but some of my favorite songs ever.

Back to December - Wikipedia

    One of my top three Taylor Swift songs is "Back to December." This song is so beautiful and one of the first songs I learned how to play on the guitar. I remember when I was younger and I would rewatch the music video to this song over and over. This song is rumored to be about Taylor Lautner, whom I met at The Eras Tour.

    Taylor's biggest strength in music is her songwriting and it really shows in this song. Cowboy Like Me is such a beautiful song. It is so romantic and such an amazing masterpiece of storytelling. I love this song so much.

    My last top three favorite Taylor Swift song is "The Archer." The Archer Taylor's most raw and real song. It is such a good song and hearing it live at The Eras Tour was a dream come true.

    Reading her list of favorites felt so warm and personal the way she tied each album and song to real memories, like crying at “Long Live” on the Eras Tour or learning “Back to December” on guitar, reminded me how deeply Taylor’s music becomes part of our lives. And honestly, that same emotional connection is why I adore Taylor’s iconic game-day looks too; lately I’ve been obsessed with the Taylor Swift Chiefs Jacket because it carries that same bold, expressive energy Swifties love and it’s quickly becoming one of my own favorite pieces to look for as a fan.

  The Taylor Swift Blog Week Two: Not Blocking, Music Is Just Better      The title of this weeks post is going to take some explaining. Basically Taylor Swift has been getting allegations that she releases remixes and deluxe versions of her music at the same time that other artists are releasing music to block them from getting a spot on The Billboard Hot 100.  The planning for these releases happens months in advance so I do not think she is doing it on purpose. Also if you want your music to be more successful than Taylor Swift's your gonna have to start making way better music. This whole situation reminded me of the saying "not flirting, just hot and talking" like Taylor Swift is not blocking artist's music from the Hot 100 on purpose, her music is simply just better and  receives  more streams.  Taylor Swift's most recent album The Tortured Poets Department  has blocked many popular artists releases from getting top spots on...
