Week Six: The Outfit Post

    I am currently pursuing a fashion minor so I like to think I know a little about fashion. Today we are going to be talking all about Taylor Swift's worst and best outfits. 

    

    Okay, starting off we have some red carpet looks. First of all, can we just appreciate the hair glow up, her hair looks much better in the green dress. The blue dress is so ugly and not flattering at all. The color is okay but gets so much worse when you look at the pink shoes it is paired with. The neckline an like high low skirt situation is just all wrong. The makeup looks bad, the accessories are a no, and the hair looks bleh. In the right picture the look is so much better. She looks gorgeous. The hair looks great, the makeup is simple, and so are the accessories. The dress is interesting in color and texture but has a pretty classic silhouette with some cool strap details that still make the dress look classy and not too overboard like the dress on the left. 

    Okay, now we have some performance outfits. Both of these outfits are to perform the same album. The outfit on the left is too crazy and distracts from the music. The pink lip is not good on her skin tone and the tights are too dark. The outfit on the right is simple yet beautiful and is not distracting. The red lip is gorgeous and the tights are better for her skin tone. The shoes are cool and she looks more confident and like she has found herself and not like she is trying too hard. In the outfit on the right she looks like a superhero. 

    These are some pictures of her street style. She has a great street style, I love all of these looks. I think she looks gorgeous in all of these and she looks even more beautiful when she lets out her natural curls as seen in the third picture. She has a great personal style and I think that makes sense for who she is. But sometimes I wish she had better red carpet looks, she sometimes lacks in the red carpet look department.
